Home Reincarnated

If walls could talk they would say "I am so glad you are here, the previous owners had such bad taste." Please follow our journey as we de-remodel our 200 year old home in the Nichols Farms Historic District.. bringing it from the worst house on the block to restoring it to it's former glory

About Me

Lorie
Nichols, CT
In 2008, shortly after the birth of my fourth child and after losing another property to probate, my husband and I purchased a 200 year old bank owned property that needed much more than TLC. Armed with determination, enough skills to get us into trouble, enough sense to know when to hire the job out and a vision, we are on a journey to turn our home into a dream home- without it becoming a money pit. I have a MS in Urban Planning from Pratt Institute which is where I picked up my love of old buildings and a BFA in Graphic Arts from the School of Visual arts as well as being a certified teacher in New York State and a certificate in Direct Marketing from NYU.
